Relax and empty yourself of Expectations
Yes, its’s normal to be covered with many expectations for new experience and new destinations. Uganda is known as “the pearl of Africa” because it’s a basket of many tourist attractions including Gorillas.

Now that you have all those already in place, progress to something more important, emptying yourself to receive everything that comes with open hands so that you do not miss out the best of your trip for any reason.
Focus on things that are in your power
Gorilla tracking is always a scheduled trip; therefore, any changes in your itinerary might affect how the trip turns out. Waking late, car break down, food poisoning anything out of the ordinary might affect your trip. For this reason, you should not worry about the things that are out of your control but focus on those which are in your control. One is going to bed early enough so that you can wake up early enough. It can be a beat disgusting to have a wakeup call when you have just gone to bed.
If you are the kind that often gets food poisoning when you try out new meals, then carry your medication or avoid new meals. You can opt to stick to fruits and a few energy giving snacks till you are done with your gorilla trekking safari. We recommend all these items to be packed early enough to avoid the stress of reaching your chosen destination only to realize that you have forgotten your favorite jacket at home and other items.
Carry Your Own Water Bottle
For purposes of environmental conservation, it is highly recommended to carry a non-disposal water bottle. You can carry one, or buy one upon arrival. You can get drinking water from your hotel of residence. It will be very important to keep hydrated during your gorilla safari.
